Learn to Ride
BASIC RIDERCOURSE
The Basic RiderCourse is intended for those with little or no experience, or for any rider who has missed the opportunity to take formal motorcycle rider education. This hands-on, learner-centered, step-by-step course teaches everything from the ground up. Rider Academy supplies a 2-300cc motorcycle (BMW,KTM, Honda and Suzuki) for each BRC student.
PRIVATE LESSONS
Rider Academy offers personalized riding instruction. Work one-on-one with nationally recognized Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) RiderCoach Trainer Jed Duncan. The cost is $250 for each 2.5-hour session using a Rider Academy motorcycle or scooter, $225 if you ride your own motorcycle or scooter. Private lessons can be scheduled any time our training center is not already booked, dawn to dusk.
MOPED SAFETY CLASS
Riders at least 15 years old can take this 3-hour Zoom class and receive the MN Moped certificate necessary to test for a MN Moped Permit. The test is only administered by MN Dept. of Public Safety but you must present our certificate in order to be allowed to test.
Improve your ride
BASIC RIDERCOURSE 2
For the rider who knows what he or she is doing, or thinks they know. Most riders who have never taken a class will be surprised how much they’ll learn. You take this course on your own motorcycle, improving your skills on your own machine.
